Bird House for Predator Resist

The Predator Resist nest box was designed in conjunction with TV's Simon King OBE. This super solid and extra deep nest box provides additional protection from predators such as cats, rats, and woodpeckers. Constructed from solid FSC certified timber, the box features a water-based green painted roof and a 32mm hole protector, making it suitable for small hole-nesting species.

The nest box is attached to the tree or wall using the pre-drilled recycled plastic hanger on the back of the box. The clever design of the hanger allows you to undo the locking screw and swivel it away, revealing a large access hole for cleaning out the nest box after the nesting season is over (October – December). This feature ensures easy maintenance and care for the box's occupants.

To ensure optimal positioning, the nest box should be erected with the entrance hole facing towards the northeast, away from the prevailing wind direction. Additionally, the green roof can be repainted annually to maintain its attractive appearance if desired.
